To celebrate 50 years and counting from our graduation date, the Class of 1974 steering committee is organizing a reunion for our great class. The next reunion is scheduled for Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5, 2024. 

Below is a schedule for the two days.

Friday, October 4th Events

Event:   “Circle of Honor” Ceremony for our deceased classmates

Time:     4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.      

Place:    Hungry Mother State Park Hemlock Haven Conference Center (Ferrell Hall)

     

Event:    Meet and Greet – socialize, reminisce, and have fun with the 70’s music 

Time:      5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. 

Place:    Hungry Mother State Park Hemlock Haven Conference Center  (Ferrell Hall)

Music:  70’s

Food:     light hors d’oeuvres/cash bar

Saturday, October 5th Events

Event:    Golf

Time:    8:30 a.m – 1:00 p.m.

Place:    Holston Hills Country Club

Event:   Brunch

Time:      10 a.m.– 1:00 p.m. 

Place:    to be held at a classmate’s residence in Marion-address sent privately after you RSVP

Event: 50 Year Celebration Dinner 

Time: 6 pm -Midnight

Place:   Holston Hills Country Club

1.Meet and Greet – 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

2.  Dinner – 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. ; dinner includes prime rib, chicken dish, corn, green beans, baked potato bar, salad, bread, and desserts (chocolate, cheesecake and fruits), and cash bar 

3. Activities-trivia, veterans recognition, special presentation, 70’s music and dancing – 8:30 p.m. – Midnight

As a result of a generous donation, “no up-front cost” is required to attend the function(s) on either day/night. However, you will have to pay/provide for your golf fee (if applicable), transportation, and lodging.

One endeavor the committee wishes to initiate/explore is to donate to Marion Senior High School based on their recommended need(s). The donation(s) will be from the Class of 1974. If you would like to donate “any amount”, please donate by either of the following choices (some donation funds may be used to defray unexpected reunion expenses):
